Janis Spindel is the owner and operator of Serious Matchmaking, Inc., which she founded in 1994. To date, the company has to its credit 307 marriages and over 700 monogamous relationships, and 70 percent of its clients marry or enter long-term relationships. Spindel, a former fashion executive, lives with her husband and two daughters in New York City and has been featured in hundreds of articles in major magazines and newspapers.
