Steven L. Spiegel, Professor of Political Science at UCLA, specializes in the analysis of world politics, American foreign policy, and American foreign policy in the Middle East. Recent university activities include the position of international chair of the Middle East cooperative security program for the statewide Institute on Global Conflict and Cooperation (IGCC) of the University of California.
