Spevacek, Bill

Spevacek spent 30 years as a public relations counselor, 24 of them with the Barkin public relations firm in Milwaukee, where he served a wide variety of corporate and nonprofit clients. From 1995 to 1998 he was director of corporate relations for the University of Wisconsin Foundation. He is a journalism graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and has served as an infantry officer in the U.S. Marine Corps, a newspaper reporter with the Wisconsin Rapids Daily Tribune and public information officer for Wisconsin State Patrol.
