Spencer, Jo

Jo Spencer's historical fiction is set in Kentucky in the 1800's. Drawing upon her own life and historical research, her characters and settings take on an incredibly rich and complex tone true to what she has experienced growing up in Appalachia. This is only one of the genres she writes in. With her writing she hopes to contribute something of lasting and life-affirming value for the world.
