I was brought up in a small 300 year old stone cottage twenty miles south of Glasgow, Scotland. Moved to Vancouver British Columbia when I was still a 'wee un' with my mum and her new Canadian hubby. Attended University of British Columbia for far too many years while beach life guarding for Vancouver City for four blissful months each summer as a reward for my academic tenacity.
