Paul Solomon, founder and chairman of the Colloquium on Change in Accounting Education, has been a leader in the movement for accounting change for the past 20 years. Such initiatives have earned him numerous awards, including the American Accounting Association's 1998 Innovation in Accounting Education Award. In addition, Dr. Solomon is Professor Emeritus of Accounting at San Jose State University, where he was on the faculty for 19 years until his retirement in 1998.
