In 1990, after working "on-the-boards" in architecture firms for about five years, Nancy B. Solomon, AIA, became senior editor for technology and practice at "Architecture "magazine. She subsequently spent a year as editor of the American Institute of Architects' "Environmental Resource Guide". Since 1997, she has written numerous continuing-education articles for "Architectural Record" and has provided writing and editorial services to the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and the AIA.
