David Sokol is a freelance writer and editor based in New York. He is a contributing editor at Surface, and writes regularly for publications including Architectural Record, Azure, Interior Design, and Mark. Sokol was a managing editor at I.?D. magazine, has taught at Rhode Island School of Design, oversaw Architectural Design's The New Alliance.
