Deepak Menon resigned from his Senior Officers job in bank well before superannuation, to take up writing professionally as a novelist. He started with books of tales and fables about the fairy 'Booga Dooga Land', the series beginning with the Readers Favorite Award Winning Pickwick's Plan - his first book, based on bedtime stories he used to tell his children when they were children.
