Snape, Richard H.

Richard Snape has been Professor of Economics at Monash University since 1971. He has served as a member of the Whitlam government's Priority Review Staff and the Treasurer's panel of economists during the Fraser Governments, worked at the World Bank in Washington, and has been a visiting professor in Stockholm and in Geneva. Since 1995 he has been at the Industry Commision where he has been overseeing research, and has been a commissioner on inquiries into state government assistance for industry, and the textile, clothing and footwear industry.
