L.M. Smith and her father Norm Smith hoped for many years that they would someday be able to collaborate on writing and illustrating a children's book together. Throughout his life, Norm displayed an exceptional talent with drawing and painting in a variety of mediums and earned a great deal of praise and countless awards for his work as an artist.
