Geoff Smith was born in London and educated in Surrey. He worked in travel, then wrote and performed for theatre, television before starting his own business. Time of the Beast is the result of his longstanding interest in Anglo-Saxon history and literature, along with a fondness for classic horror stories. Geoff Smith lives in Wallington in Surrey.
