Smith, Emily

Emily Smith lives in Kent with her family, including 4 children. She has always written privately, wittily entertaining and apt items for the family. She worked for several years as a journalist but then decided to dedicate herself to her family while her children were growing up. This book was written some 10 years ago, and when she became ill with terminal cancer, she decided to publish it. It is difficult not to feel deprived of all the other books she might have written if some far-sighted publisher had taken this on ten years ago.
