Smith, Derek

A former journalist whose works have appeared in numerous newspapers and magazines, Derek Smith is a native of Bishopville, South Carolina, and a graduate of Georgia Southern University. His previous six books include "Civil War Savannah" and "The Sentinels" (both published by Beil). He now lives in Williamsville, New York.
