Bruce R. Smith is Dean's Professor of English and Professor of Dramatic Arts at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. He is the author of six books, including, most recently, Phenomenal Shakespeare (2010) and The Key of Green: Passion and Perception in Renaissance Culture (2009).
