Joan Small AUA QBE was born in Western Australia during WWII but spent most of her life in Australia's Northern Territory, moving to the Gold Coast, Queensland in 2001. She is a freelance journalist, and since becoming an author has written several personal development books and a YA Fantasy Adventure Fiction novel.
