In 1968 Den Slattery joined the Marines and was sent to Vietnam. The war had a drastic affect on him. When he returned home he found it difficult to readjust to civilian life because each night he had nightmares that took him back to the jungles of Vietnam. In 1972 he was sent back to Vietnam for a second tour of duty. In "Changed By War" Den shares not only about the horrors of war, but also how he found healing and hope.
