Slater, Judith

Judith Slater grew up in Brocton, NY, and holds doctorates in both psychology and English. She has taught at Canisius College in Buffalo, NY, and studied poetry under Irving Feldman and Carl Dennis. A finalist for both the Margie and Passager awards, she has twice been featured in Ted Kooser's national website, American Life in Poetry. She works as a psychologist and lives in Buffalo with her husband, a political scientist.
