The first time I read the Bible, I was excited to share what I was learning with others. I was surprised, though, to learn how many church members had not read it. Most shared a guilt with me, wishing they could but not able to do so for various reasons. Writing my first book, "Point to Reading," I came to understand what causes two out of three kids to give up on reading in their first couple years in school.
