Sinha, Dilip Kumar

Dilip Kumar Sinha, formerly Sir Rashbehary Ghose Professor of Applied Mathematics, University of Calcutta, is Professor of Mathematics, and Coordinator at the Jadavpur University, Centre for Atmospheric Sciences, University of Calcutta. He is actively involved in the Task Force set up by the Government of India, as a follow-up of the recommendations on the theme "Coping with Natural Disasters: An Integrated Approach," presented at the Indian Science Congress of 1991.
