Anne B. Simpson is professor of English at California State University, Pomona, and holds certification in advanced psychodynamic psychotherapy at the Southern California Psychoanalytic Institute. Her current work centers on twentieth-century literature as it intersects the investigations and discoveries of modern psychoanalytic thought. She co-edited the volume "Seeing Double: Revisioning Edwardian and Modernist Literature" (1996), and her articles have appeared in such journals as "American Imago, Essays in Literature, Works and Days, Extrapolation," and "Reader."
