CB Simmons' first venture into the young children's picture book field, "Pickle's Peepers" comes from her own family times with children and a veritable flock of parakeet pets. Other titles by this author include "Polka Dot Bananas," "Frog Song," and "The Great Tooth Chase." A non-fiction piece, "Sweet Legacy: Jack's Donuts," centers around a third generation family business. Illustrator Nancy Simmons taught art in a high school setting for many years. Now retired, she volunteers many hours to civic theater in her summer home community. Nancy works in a variety of mediums, but is most at home
