Margaret P Nelson was born in Lutesville, Missouri and grew up on a small farm in Southeast Missouri. She graduated from The University of Guam in 1980. She traveled extensively in Southeast Asia for her businesses. She also lived in Korea, Spain, Bermuda, and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. She had two sons and currently lives in the Ozarks with her editor and three black labs. She is writing The Labs that Saved Christmas and other stories.
