William Crossman was born in Baileyville, ME, in 1934. He served in the U.S. Navy after quitting high school at the age of 16. He then attended Freed Hardeman Jr. College where he met his wife LuCinda. While working as a minister for a local church of Christ in Morris, IL, Bill committed the crimes that would drastically change his life and the lives of others.
