Fabrizio Silei, essayist, novelist and story writer for children, was born in Florence, Italy in 1967. He describes himself as a researcher of stories and human events, not forgetting his work on memory and identity as a sociologist. His many works have received accolades, one being a finalist for the UNICEF prize for literature dedicated to the rights of man and children, and another winning the Anderson Prize as the best book in the 9-12 category in 2012.
