Siddique, Salman

Salman Siddique was born in Lahore, Pakistan and graduated from the University of the Punjab, Lahore with a degree in Urdu M.A. He had been an active member of Halqa-e-Arbab-e-Zoq Lahore in 90's. He is an author of four poetic collections and a novel in Urdu. He is well known among all living Urdu poets, writers, researchers and critics as poet, novelist, researcher and a literary critic. His poetry has different moods and fluctuating intellectual levels. One can find very deep philosophical trances in his all writings along with a very fresh, simple and dominant wave of feelings and emotions
