Jamison Seward was born in Arbor, California. An awkward, bookish boy, he spent much of his childhood writing adventure stories and dealing with a latent homosexuality exasperated by the molestations of his father. As a teen-ager he found refuge in music and attended many local concerts. It was here that he discovered his love for poetry and soon began writing himself. A quiet boy, he lived a secret life in many of the underground concert halls throughout Southern California.
