Shankle, Sam Boone

Shankle was stationed in Alaska in the Navy Air Force, and assigned to the Air Force Defense Command as a civilian. The advent of satellites transferred him to Silicon Valley where he tested reconnaissance and communications satellites. He enjoys his hobbies of boating, amateur radio and disaster communications.
