I came to writing later in life but am entirely enchanted by the art. After 20 years working as a Speech-Language Pathologist with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, I have finally had the opportunity to take some of what I've learned from these remarkable children and their families and put it into an adventure story. I hope you enjoy the ride! When I'm not writing, I spend my time with my husband and two children, hiking, canoeing, and playing video games. Award-winning author D. C.
