Seryak, John M.

Seryak has taught in the public school system for 28 years. His graduate studies were completed in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentrated study of child sexual abuse issues. The current focus of John's research is raising teacher awareness of sexually abused students. He continues to research, write, and provide staff development for educators. John also writes poetry relating to child sexual abuse, the recovery process, and personal/spiritual growth. His work has been published in a variety of journals and newsletters.
