Serifoglu, M. S. a.

The author was born in Kobe just before the WWII and lived in Shanghai during the Japanese occupation. When his father was trapped in communist Northern China, he became a refugee living as a child in the Philippines, post-war Europe and later in Arabia before coming back to Turkey. He retired from a senior position in Shell Oil and now lives in Istanbul with his wife. He has three grownup children living in the US and in the UK.
