Natacha Seijas is a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. As a young woman, she came to America from Cuba, searching for the freedom that the communist revolution had stolen from her and millions of other Cubans. She attended St. Thomas University in Havana and Miami Dade College. She has worked with Switchboard of Miami and the Mental Health Association, nonprofit organizations that provide crisis counseling and wellness services. In those roles, she learned long ago that childhood bullying can have consequences that extend long into adulthood for both the bullies and their victims. In
