In the summer of 2013 Kaci completely changed her diet and eating habits. She lost a lot of weight and in the process inspired others to get on a healthier track as well. During her junior year of high school, she started thinking about what she wanted to do her senior project on, and decided to do it on something that could benefit herself as well as others.
