Scott, Catherine A.

Author Catherine A. Scott has been a community activist and history enthusiast for over 20 years. A freelance writer for the Bronx County Historical Society and the 1998 recipient of the Carl and Nettie Halpern Award, she is also a news editor for the Island Current, a monthly community newspaper. She currently serves as corresponding secretary for the City Island Civic Association and recording secretary for the Einstein/Weiler Hospital Community Advisory Board.
