This fiction-based-on-fact book was inspired by the life of the author's great-great-grandfather. Included in the detailed information on births, marriages and deaths he left behind were a few lines about each wife...words that captured in a nut-shell the personality of each woman, and the depth of Henry's feeling for her. The author visited the site of Henry's land grant and the grist mill operated by Henry and his father, Oliver. As a child, she met Henry's grandchildren.
