Florian Schulz's first book, Yellowstone to Yukon: Freedom to Roam (Braided River) was awarded the Independent Book Publishers Award as one of the "Top Ten Outstanding Books of the Year" under the category: "Most Likely to Save the Planet." He has won numerous awards for his work, including the National Wildlife Federation's "Conservation Photographer of the Year" and the Sierra Club "Ansel Adams Award." Florian lives with his project partner and wife, Emil Herrera-Schulz, and their son, Nanuk, dividing their time between his native Germany, the Lower 48, and Alaska. Learn more about his work
