Maxine Schreiber received her B.A. degree in Fine Arts in New Jersey in 1969. She taught oil painting and exhibited her work in the 70's and early 80's in Cambridge, Massachusetts where she was a juried member of the Cambridge Art Association. After receiving a Masters Degree in Expressive Therapies she put painting aside to practice as a psychotherapist for over 20 years. In 2001 she began painting again and the next year was accepted as a juried artist member of Women In The Visual Arts.
