Mary J. Schleppegrell" is Associate Professor of Linguistics and Chair of the Linguistics Graduate Group at the University of California, Davis. She has experience teaching at all levels of schooling and is currently engaged in research on teaching and learning in various subject areas, including science, history, and English as a Second Language.
