Schildt, Sylvia Siegel

Born Sylvia Siegel, eldest of five children, in Brownsville, Brooklyn, during the period that encompassed the end of the Depression and the runup to WWII, she exhibited a talent for writing -- her poetry was published while she was in 2nd grade. Ms Schildt is an alumnus of Thos. Jefferson HS and CCNY. majoring in English, minoring in history. She went on to become an advertising copywriter and is currently running her own freelance business.
