Schavrien, Judy

Judy "JES" Schavrien, Ph.D. is a poet and artist living in the San Francisco Bay Area. With 15 prizes for her work in the arts, she is anthologized in NEW LESBIAN WRITING (Grey Fox Press), which won the Library Journal's Small Press Book Award. Her activist work, in the Women's and Queer liberation movements, earned her a Founding Mother's Award and, from the Association for Women in Psychology, a Feminist Pioneer Award.
