Scanlon, Phil, Jr.

Scanlon was born in Dallas, Texas. He majored in Radio-Television-Film at The University of Texas at Austin and graduated in 1973. He enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps in 1968, served as an infantryman in VietNam from February 1969 to August 1969 and was reassigned to Camp Smith, Hawaii, after his third Purple Heart in South VietNam.
