Alvin Brinkman, Jr. is the great-grandson of German immigrants who came to America in the 1900s. Alvin began writing in the 1960s and has authored many works in poetry, short stories, children's books, history, legal briefs, genealogy, fiction and political opinion. Alvin has a B.S.N. degree and a minor in creative writing from the University of Wisconsin and lives deep in the Midwest in a log cabin with his dog Mindy, enjoying nature and seclusion.
