Norma Sawyers-Kurz has written books for grieving parents from the perspective of personal experience. In 1982 her 15-year-old daughter Karen was riding on a motorcycle with a friend when they were struck by a truck. Karen died as a result of injuries received in the accident. Norma was devastated, paralyzed by disbelief and shock. Life isn't supposed to be like this; normally children bury their parents, not the other way around. After years of working through the grief process, she decided to reach out to other grieving parents to share how she survived the most difficult period of her life....
