Sawyer, Diane

Diane Sawyer grew up in Greenport, Long Island. She graduated from SUNY at Albany, Seton Hall University, and Fordham University, where she received a Ph.D. After working as a teacher and administrator in New York State, she moved to Florida and divided her time between fiction writing and educational consulting. Gradually, she shifted to writing full-time, both novels and short stories. She is currently researching her next novel, which, like The Montauk Mystery and The Montauk Steps, takes place in the fictional town of Grayrocks, Long Island.
