Sauter, John

John Sauter was born in 1940 near Gettysburg, PA. He graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia. He worked in the U.S. Job Corps from 1964-1969 before moving to Oregon where he coached high school football and worked as a deputy sheriff in Tillamook County. He now lives in Sierra Vista, Arizona and is the author of the childhood memoir "Once Below a Time."
