Saucier, Jocelyne

Jocelyne Saucier was born in New Brunswick. Two of her previous novels - La vie comme une image and Jeanne sur les routes - were finalists for the Governor General's Awards. Her latest novel, Il pleavait des oiseaux garnered her the Prix des Cinq Continents de la Francophonie, making her the first Canadian to win the award. She lives in Abitibi, in northwestern Quebec.
