Naomi Zack is Associate Professor of Philosophy at the State University of New York at Albany. She is the author of "Race and Mixed Race" (1993), "Bachelors of Science: Seventeenth Century Identity Then and Now" (1996), "Thinking About Race" (1998). She is the Editor of "American Mixed Race: The Culture of Microdiversity" (1995) and "Race/Sex: Their Sameness, Difference, and Interplay" (1997).

Laurie Shrage is Professor and Department Chair of Philosophy at California State Polytechmic University, Pomona. She is the author of "Moral Dilemmas of Feminism: Prostitution, Adultery, and Abortion
