Jim Lewis, now retired, lives with his wife of forty-plus years in Grand Rapids, MN, a small town in northern Minnesota where there are over 1,000 lakes in the county. Jim and Sharron have three grown married children and four grandchildren. Both he and Sharron are involved with church and community. Jim began paddling a canoe at age twelve and bought his first kayak in 2003. He has since logged in over 4,000 kayak miles on lakes and rivers across the northland, in thirteen states and Canada.
