Sargent, James E.

Now living in Cincinnati, Ohio, James E. Sargent wrote From the Edge of the Crowd while going through a personal crisis. "I began at the edge of the crowd and ended up wanting almost desperately to be directly next to Jesus, and to have him near me." In addition to his writing, Sargent has pastored for more than twenty years in the United Methodist Chruch, taught high school history, and completed the Boston marathon.
