Sanaa

Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa founded SANAA in 1995. Based in Tokyo, the duo's most recent projects include the Museum of Contemporary Art in Kanazawa and the Japanese pavilion of the 1999 Venice Architecture Biennale. They are finalists for the competition to design the New Museum of Contemporary Art's new headquarters on the Bowery in New York City.
